If a home or business owner can handle the small maintenance things, then that saves them time and money and that is a win in our book. Heating & Air
HEATING
- Change disposable filters every 30 days….if its’ dirty, change it!
- If your furnace doesn’t work…

1. First check for dirty filter…dirty filters cause quite the trouble!
2. Turn power off for 5 minutes and restart, this will reset/reboot the electronic board.
3. Make sure the vent pipe is clear of any debris such as; snow, leaves, or blocked by overgrown landscaping plants.
COOLING
- If unit is freezing up or has low airflow, shut down and check for dirty filter………again, dirty filters cause trouble and cost you money!
- If your system runs but won’t keep up-check outside unit for dirty condenser coil- hose off if possible….do not use pressure washer!
- Try running the blower portion of the furnace “FAN” in the “ON” position on your thermostat.
Plumbing
COLD WEATHER
- Undo/unhook any outside garden hoses well before the first freeze.
- In extremely cold weather open any cabinet doors below any sinks or lavatories on an outside wall.
- If a freeze does occur, try using a hairdryer to thaw the line- never use any type of open flame!
