Helping Our Community
Habitat for Humanity
“We have been asked several times to work on a Habitat for Humanity house and we decided that this was the right time to make it happen,” said Phil Schmidt, President. Our employees were on board with helping to make a family’s dream of homeownership come true. Our work focused on the heating & air and plumbing portion of the build. In addition to deeply discounting the labor, we partnered with Jasper WinElectric (Plumbing) and Habegger Corporation (HVAC) for discounts on the plumbing fixtures and the Bryant HVAC equipment. Our guys worked alongside students in the Building Trades classes to install the systems. An added benefit is that our team may have impacted the future careers of those students.
THE END RESULT
The effort of this project was all worthwhile when we were able to see the family all smiles on dedication day.
